2020 / 2021 Student Accomplishments

I’d like to share some of my student’s recent accomplishments with you all. This has been a difficult year again for many people and I thought I’d spread some positive news!

Andrew Y. – Congratulations to Andrew who scored 85 on his level 6 RCM online examination. This is a tough level.  (The national average in 2019 for level 6 piano was 72.5) Andrew is in grade 10, high school.  Since Covid hit, he has never stopped practicing.  He zoomed through level 6 in seven months and trained for and completed his exam in 2 months. He is now determined to take on the challenge of playing level 8 material. I have no doubt that Andrew will succeed as he has excellent attention to detail and reading ability!

Kristina K. – Congratulations to Kristina who scored 85 on her first ever level 1 RCM online examination. (The national average in 2019 for level 1 piano was 81.2) Kristina had all of her pieces memorized within the first month and was ready ahead of time! She is a well refined piano player!

Asher B. – Congratulations to Asher on completing level 1 piano and beginning RCM level 2. Asher has an eye for detail and is also becoming quite a good technical and artistic player!

Kudos to these students on their achievements while completing over a year of online lessons! And a special thank you from myself as your success helps to motivate me as a teacher! 😀

COVID 19 – Online Lessons

Due to COVID 19, all lessons are now online and will be for some time. I do have availability if you are looking for half hour piano lessons. You must have FaceTime or Skype and a good wifi connection. So far lessons are running quite well and students are able to keep up with their goals and homework. The RCM is offering online virtual examinations so students can complete them as scheduled.
